Coleman three-peats as GLVC Player of the Year

Rockhurst's Ella Coleman became the sixth player to win the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year honor for the third or more time.

Coleman went 13-1 overall and 4-0 in GLVC action at No. 1 singles. She p
artnered with Camila Neyra and Marina Magai at majority No. 1 and 2 doubles, going 13-13 overall and 4-0 against GLVC foes.

The junior from Bentonville, Arkansas holds the highest ranking in the GLVC for ITA Division II singles at No. 38. She was named the GLVC Player of the Week on February 18, April 1, April 22, and April 29, and earned a spot on All-GLVC First Team for the third year in a row.

Neyra and Maria Baez joined Coleman on GLVC All-Conference First Team in Women's Tennis. Neyra sports a 10-2 record in singles and 12-4 record in doubles. Baez is 11-0 in singles play and 11-5 in doubles.

Coleman is also Rockhurst's team recipient for the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

The 49th-ranked Hawks (14-3) entered the GLVC Women's Tennis Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana as the one seed in the West Division.
