The Rockhurst baseball team posted two wins over Truman State on Sunday to complete a four-game sweep over the Bulldogs at Loyola Park. The Hawks won the first game, 6-1, and rallied to win Game Two, 15-12.
Game 1: RU 6, TSU 1
Colton Wemhoff led the Hawks with four RBIs. He doubled home two runs in the third inning to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead and added a two-run double in the sixth.
Peyton Clerk drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in the second and Dakota Hanna had an RBI single in the fifth.
Brendan Rodis (5-3) held the Bulldogs to one run on seven hits while striking out seven in 7.0 innings.

Game 2: RU 15, TSU 12
The Hawks rallied from a 7-2 deficit in the fifth inning, scoring 13 runs in their final four at-bats.
Tyler Strongman led the Hawks with four RBI. He gave the Hawks an 11-9 lead with a towering three-run home run over the left-field fence in the seventh.
Braeden Barbee hit a go-ahead two-run double in the eighth to give Rockhurst a 13-11 lead. Strongman capped the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
Wemhoff posted three hits and two RBI. Clerk went three-for-four with two runs scored. Afton Koch, Michael Laudando and Hanna each had two hits.
Meade Rutherford got the last four outs to pick up his third win of the season.
