Hawks earn series split with 12-10 win at Indy

Rockhurst wrapped up its weekend series at Indianapolis with a 12-10 victory over the Greyhounds on Sunday to earn a split of the four-game series.

The Hawks (18-7, 7-5 GLVC) scored four runs in the seventh inning to take an 11-7 lead and added another run in the ninth.

Colton Wemhoff led the Hawks with four hits, including a two-run single in the seventh. Michael Laudando posted three hits, scored four runs and drove in two runs.

Dakota Hanna drove in two runs and had two hits. Luke Schultz and Avery Garmon each had two RBI. Luke Feucht added two hits.

Landon Carr (4-2) allowed one run on three hits and had three strikeouts. Laudando got the last four outs to pick up his first save.
