Rockhurst dropped a pair of conference baseball games to McKendree on Saturday at Loyola Park. The Bearcats won the first game, 2-1, and outscored the Hawks, 12-6, in the second game.
Game 1: McKendree 2, RU 1
McKendree's Gavin Arseneau's RBI triple broke a scoreless tie in the seventh. Arseneau then scored on a single by Quest Hull.
Afton Koch got the Hawks on the board with an RBI single in the seventh. Koch posted three of the Hawks' four hits.
Keller Costello held McKendree scoreless over 6.0 innings on three hits and struck out 11. Landon Carr allowed two runs on three hits in the seventh.
Game 2: McKendree 12, RU 6

The Bearcats scored three runs in the eighth and two more in the ninth to complete the sweep. Rockhurst rallied to take a 6-5 lead in the seventh on an RBI single by Micheal Laudando.
Dakota Hanna hit a three-run double in the sixth to cut McKendree's lead to 5-4. Koch tied the score at 5-5 with a run-scoring single in the seventh.
Koch, Laudando and Colton Wemhoff led the Hawks with two hits apiece.
Meade Rutherford held the Bearcats to one earned run on five hits and struck out one in 5.0 innings. Carr (3-2) took the loss.
