Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

Men fall to No. 8 Loyola Chicago in three sets

Rockhurst Men's Volleyball fell in three sets to eighth-ranked Loyola Chicago on Saturday in Chicago.

The Ramblers took the first set, 25-22, and the second set, 25-19. Loyola Chicago won the match with a 25-23 win in the third set. 

Shay Spadaro tallied a team-leading 14 kills and added five digs and three blocks. Quentin Huhman and Aron DeRoy each posted eight kills.

Wesley Yusk recorded four blocks to lead Rockhurst. Tyler Zippay has 30 assists and four digs. Ryan Collins and Will Sutphen tied for the team lead in digs with seven apiece. 

The Hawks finished with 35 kills, five team blocks, 33 assists and 28 digs.

Rockhurst (4-9) hosts Central Christian on Saturday, Feb. 21 at noon and 2 p.m.
