The Rockhurst women's track and field squad had six student-athletes selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team: Ella Easton, Leah Heck, Carrington Hessen, Grace Kaiser, Maia Maury and Laney Parmeley.

For potential selection to the Academic All-District Team, an individual must rank in the Top 50 of their region in a single event (cross country, indoor track and field or outdoor track and field), not including relay events. They must also be at least a sophomore in athletic eligibility and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Ella Easton ranks second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase school honor roll.

Leah Heck broke the school record in the triple jump (outdoors). She ranks second in the triple jump (indoors) and fourth in the 60 (indoors), while sitting fourth in the 200 and fifth in the 100 (outdoors).

Carrington Hessen holds three indoor school records (mile, 3,000, and 5,000) and three outdoor school records (1,500, 5,000 and 10,000). She came in third in the 3,000 and sixth in the 5,000 at the GLVC Indoor meet, while finishing seventh in the GLVC 10,000 Outdoor race.

Grace Kaiser is the school-record holder in the 3,000 steeplechase and finished 10th at the GLVC Outdoor meet in the 3,000 steeplechase.

Maia Maury is the first Hawk to earn All-GLVC track and field honors, placing second in the heptathlon (indoors) and second in the 400 hurdles (outdoors). She holds the school records in the high jump and pentathlon (indoors). Maury ranks second in the 400, 800 and 100 hurdles (indoors). She also broke the outdoor school records in the 800, 400 hurdles and high jump.

Laney Parmeley ranks second in the 5,000 and 10,000 (outdoors). She also stands third in the 5,000 (indoor). Parmeley finished 11th in the 10,000 at the GLVC Outdoor race and placed fourth at the Baker University Cross Country Invitational last fall.
