Rockhurst announces Student-Athlete Hawk Choice Awards

The Rockhurst University Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Year for 2024-25 were announced Monday night at the Student-Athlete Hawk Choice Awards at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Jacopo Belardo and Semyon Tsyrenov were the co-winners of the Mark Sappington Male Athlete of the Year. Belardo was a First Team All-GLVC and First Team Academic All-American soccer player while named the GLVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year in soccer. Tsyrenov was a First Team All-GLVC tennis player and captured the ITA Midwest Regional singles title.

Tera Reberry was named the Taylor Skala Female Athlete of the Year. Reberry earned first team All-GLVC, Second Team All-American and Third Team Academic All-American honors in her final season.
