Women sweep Jewell to earn KC Crown point

The Rockhurst women's tennis team added another point to the KC Crown series with a 7-0 victory over William Jewell Friday in Liberty, Missouri.

The Hawks (12-5, 3-0 GLVC) won No. 1 and 2 doubles, 6-3 and 6-1.

Ella Coleman won her No. 1 singles match in two sets and teamed up with Zuzanna Szmyd to capture No. 1 doubles.

Szmyd, Dani Lentisco and Maria Baez also won in straight sets in singles play.
