Elise Magee scored six goals to lead Rockhurst to an 18-8 victory over Dominican University (California) Saturday at Bourke Field.

The Hawks (8-1) are off to their best start in school history after nine games.

Magee scored four goals in the first half to help give Rockhurst an 11-7 halftime lead. The Hawks outscored the Penguins 7-1 in the second half.

• Magee led the Hawks with nine shots (eight shots on goal).
• Anna Loeffelman scored four goals on seven shots.
• Madison Powell posted two goals, two assists and two caused turnovers.
• Kylee Pickens collected 12 draw controls, two goals and two caused turnovers.
• Kaylee Lary tallied two goals, one assist, three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
• Page Yehling had four draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Mae Beins finished with four saves, four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
