Hawks finish 10th at NSIC Preview Invitational

David Schilp shot a 71 in the first round

The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in 10th place at the NSIC Preview Invitational Tuesday at the Adams Pointe Golf Course in Blue Springs, Missouri.

The Hawks shot a 294 on the first day and a 302 on the second day to finish with a 36-hole score of 596. Concordia-St. Paul won the team title with a 572 team score.

Ashton Vinton tied for 19th place at 145 (73-72) to lead the Hawks. Vinton birdied four of the last 10 holes in the second round. David Schilp tied for 25th at 146 (71-75).

Daniel Bahlinger tied for 49th at 149 and Elijah Shirley tied for 65th at 152. Kingston Solomon tied for 70th at 153 and Mike Wolski tied for 88th at 157.
