Women capture team title at Konzem Invite

Caroline Giocondo led the Hawks in second place

The Rockhurst women's golf team captured the team title at the Konzem Invitational Friday at the par-72 Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Spring Hill, Kansas.

The Hawks shot a 314 on the first day and a 324 on the second day to finish with a 36-hole score of 638, one shot ahead of Washburn.

Caroline Giocondo finished in second place with a 36-hole score of 155 to lead the Hawks. Giocondo shot a 79 in the second round after opening with a 76 in the first round on Thursday.

Jayden Berrey, Grace Claney and Sarah Biscan each finished at 161 to tie for seventh place. Celia Stiltner tied for 29th at 175.
