The Rockhurst University women's golf team has been recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for its outstanding performance in the classroom, finishing 21st nationally in NCAA Division II in the 2025-26 WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA rankings released Thursday (July 23).
The Hawks posted a 3.68 cumulative team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, earning a spot among the top 25 Division II programs in the nation. Rockhurst was also the only Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) institution represented in the Division II top 25 rankings.
The WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award recognizes the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest cumulative team grade-point averages during the academic year. In addition to naming the top GPA program in each collegiate division, the WGCA annually recognizes the top 25 NCAA Division II teams for their academic achievement.
Catawba College led all NCAA Division II programs with a 3.843 team GPA, while Rockhurst joined an elite group of just 25 schools recognized nationwide for their academic success. The Hawks' appearance as the lone GLVC representative further highlights the program's standing as one of the conference's premier academic teams.
