The Rockhurst women's golf team captured first place at the Park Spring Classic Tuesday at the par-70 at The National Golf Club in Parkville, Missouri.

The Hawks shot a 315 in the final round after opening with a 325 and 315 in the first two rounds to finish with a 54-hole score of 955.

Ella Green won medalist honors with a 233 score (78-80-75) to lead the Hawks. She shot a 38 on the front nine and 37 on the back nine in the final round.

Arantza Zepeda came in third place with a 236 score, topped by a 72 in the second round. Charley Strahm tied for seventh at 245 and Audrey Smith came in ninth at 246.

Celia Stiltner tied for 14th at 249, Sarah Hinkamp came in 18th at 255 and Kendall Stone tied for 29th at 283.
