Belardo named GLVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Men's Soccer

Jacopo Belardo finished fourth in the GLVC with 16 points
Rockhurst's Jacopo Belardo has been named the 2024 Great Lakes Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year for Men's Soccer.

Belardo led the Hawks to a 6-9-2 overall and 6-6-2 GLVC record. He finished fourth in the GLVC with 16 points, and fifth in the GLVC with six goals.

The midfielder from Rome, Italy collected GLVC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Oct. 21. He was named to the All-GLVC First Team, D2CCA All-Region First Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team.

Belardo achieved a 4.0 semester and 4.0 cumulative GPA in the Masters of Business Administration program, earning Dean's List recognition and making the CSC Academic All-American® First Team.
