Rockhurst University Director of Athletics Kristy Bayer has announced the hiring of Macie Wallace as the new Associate Athletic Director for Development.

Wallace comes to Rockhurst from the University of Central Missouri where she most recently has been serving as UCM's Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving. She also was previously the Coordinator of Donor Engagement and Executive Operations at UCM, and prior to that worked as the Operations and Recruiting Coordinator with UCM Football.

"We are excited to have Macie joining our department," Bayer said. "She brings a lot of energy, good ideas, and relevant experience to a D-II institution like Rockhurst. She comes from a university that excels in donor relations and external practices, and she has learned and been mentored by some of the best in the industry.

"There are a lot of exciting things happening for Rockhurst, and we are looking forward to having Macie get started and help us continue to build upon our progress."

Wallace, who hails from Wentzville, Missouri, is no stranger to the University of Central Missouri and UCM Athletics. She graduated from UCM with a bachelor's degree in sports management and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration.

As an undergraduate student, Wallace assisted the Mules Football program with day-to-day and game-day operations and coordinated unofficial and official recruiting visits. In addition, she served as a student ambassador for UCM admissions.
