Sarah Pyle posted 16 kills and 10 digs to lead Rockhurst to a three-set victory over Lewis on Senior Day Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks won the first and third sets 25-21 and took the second set, 25-17.
Pyle played her final home game as just the fifth player in program history to collect over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.
Alyssa McDonald collected 10 kills and two blocks. Chloe Tyrrell had 11 kills and two blocks.
Katie Vargo had a team-high 17 digs and Sydney Raszler tallied six blocks. Molly Trachta (23) and Mary Kate Mulvaney (15) combined for 38 assists.
Rockhurst finished with a .342 hitting percentage. The Hawks had 51 kills, 55 digs, 45 assists, seven blocks, and four service aces.
The Hawks (19-8, 10-1 GLVC) complete the regular season on the road next weekend, starting with a game at McKendree Friday at 6 p.m. in Lebanon, Illinois.
