Rockhurst University has received the NCAA Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence for achieving four-year Academic Success Rates of 90 percent or higher for the 15th consecutive year.

Forty-three Division II member schools are recipients of the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence. Rockhurst is one of seven schools to have earned the recognition every year since the award was started in 2011.

Rockhurst finished with a 92 percent ASR in 2024-25, which ranks in a tie for 17th among NCAA Division II institutions. Rockhurst led the Great Lakes Valley Conference and all Division II schools in Missouri and Kansas.

Emmanuel University (Georgia) led all D-II schools, earning an ASR of 100 percent. Hillsdale College, Bentley University, Rollins College and Augustana University (South Dakota) rounded out the top five, each earning an ASR above 95 percent.

"To have this continued academic success is an impressive accomplishment. I attribute our success to the diligent hard work and dedication of our student-athletes," said RU Director of Athletics Kristy Bayer. "I also appreciate the all-hands-on-deck approach that is taken at Rockhurst. This includes our amazing faculty, invested coaches and athletic staff, and all members of campus who dedicate their time and energies to our academic success.

"Rockhurst has a strong reputation for competitive athletics and strong academics. We are honored to proudly claim another NCAA D-II Presidential Award for Academic Excellence nod. This is in line with what we represent."
