Hawks end regular season with 3-1 loss at UMSL

Rockhurst Women's Volleyball fell at Missouri-St. Louis, 3-1, Saturday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri to end the regular season.

The Hawks finished the regular season with a 20-9 overall record and 11-2 mark in the GLVC. Rockhurst will enter the GLVC Tournament as the No. 2 seed and will play No. 7 seed Drury on Friday, Nov. 21.

The Hawks won the second set, 25-14, after dropping the first set, 25-18. UMSL captured the third set (26-24) and the fourth set (25-20).

Sarah Pyle led Rockhurst with 16 kills and nine digs. Delaney Hope notched a team-leading six blocks and recorded nine kills.

Molly Trachta registered team-highs in assists (21) and digs (10). Mary Kate Mulvaney had 17 assists. Katie Vargo collected nine digs and three assists.

Rockhurst finished with 45 kills, 57 digs and 10 team blocks.
