Tocco wins his 750th game as Hawks claim share of GLVC title

Rockhurst's Tony Tocco became the second coach in the history of college soccer to win 750 games as the Hawks clinched a share of the GLVC regular season title with a 1-0 victory over Missouri S&T Friday night at Bourke Field.

The 20th-ranked Hawks improved their league record to 10-1-2 with one game left in the regular season. Rockhurst, 11-3-2 overall, will host second-place Lincoln in their final home game at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Kaden Cripe scored the lone goal of the night in the 37th minute. Cripe converted on a header from six yards out for his seventh goal of the season off a corner kick by Asier Olano.

Rockhurst finished with 20 shots (four on goal). The Hawks had 13 shots in the second half. S&T posted eight shots (three on goal).

Sam McIntosh led the Hawks with five shots (two on goal). Immanuel Wayoro collected four shots (one on goal). Nicolas Schrag added three shots. Cripe, Olano and Blake Barrick each had two shots.

Stefano Camerlengo made three saves for his second shutout of the season.
