No. 18 Hawks drop first conference game

The Rockhurst men's soccer team dropped their first conference game of the season Sunday in Springfield, Missouri. Drury scored in the 71st minute to post a 1-0 win over the 18th-ranked Hawks.

Rockhurst remains in first place in the GLVC with 9-1-2 league mark with two games left in the regular season.

Drury scored off a failed clearance, passing the ball into the box for a header shot from four yards inside the right post.

Rockhurst finished with 13 shots (five on goal). The Hawks had three shots on goal in the second half. Drury posted six shots (one on goal).

Asier Olano and Immanuel Wayoro each had three shots to lead the Hawks. Mattia Petricca added two shots.

The Hawks (10-3-2 overall) return home to host Missouri S&T on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
