Balanced attack leads Hawks to 3-0 win

Seven players combined for 50 kills to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Truman State Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst captured the first set, 25-15, and won the second set, 26-24. The Hawks finished the match by winning 25-23 in the third set.

Freshman Katie Vargo collected 20 digs and two assists. Sarah Pyle recorded 13 kills, 14 digs and two blocks. Delaney Hope finished with 13 kills and a .455 hitting percentage.

Molly Trachta and Mary Kate Mulvaney tallied 23 and 19 assists, respectively. Carly Rolf had a team-leading two service aces. Chloe Tyrrell had 10 digs. 

The Hawks finished with 50 kills, 66 digs, 46 assists, seven service aces, and three blocks.

Rockhurst (15-7, 6-0 GLVC) returns to Mason-Halpin to face Upper Iowa on Saturday at 3 p.m.
