Hawks remain unbeaten in the GLVC with 1-0 road win

The Rockhurst men's soccer team remained unbeaten in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a hard-earned 1-0 victory over Southwest Baptist Friday in Bolivar, Missouri.

This marks the first 10-win season for the Hawks (now 10-2-2) since 2017. It's their 16th double-digit win season since joining the NCAA in 1998.

The first-place Hawks have won six consecutive games and improved their conference record to 9-0-2 with three games left in the regular season.

Sophomore Ozonna Ugbaja scored his first career goal two minutes into the game on a shot inside the right post from 17 yards out.

Rockhurst finished with seven shots (three on goal). SBU posted 12 shots (five on goal).

Immanuel Wayoro led the Hawks with two shots (one on goal). Blake Barrick added a shot on goal late in the second half.

Stefano Camerlengo posted his first career shutout while making five saves.

The Hawks play at Drury on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
