The Rockhurst Hawks host their first two games of the season on Women's Volleyball Alumni and Family Weekend at Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks face Drury on Friday at 6 p.m. in their home opener, followed by a Saturday match with Southwest Baptist at 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, Rockhurst (8-5, 1-0 GLVC) fell at Central Missouri in five sets. Sarah Pyle led the Hawks with 23 kills and 14 digs. Molly Trachta collected 29 assists and Katie Vargo recorded a team-leading 20 digs.

Drury (8-5, 1-1 GLVC) began conference play by falling to Missouri-St. Louis, 3-0, last Friday. The Panthers won in five sets over McKendree last Saturday.

The Hawks are 20-9 all-time against the Panthers and have won the last four contests. Rockhurst won the most recent contest in four sets on Nov. 9. 2024.

Southwest Baptist (3-10, 0-2 GLVC) fell to both McKendree and UMSL in three sets last week. The Bearcats play at William Jewell Friday night before facing the Hawks on Saturday.

Rockhurst has a 12-1 all-time series lead over Southwest Baptist. The Hawks fell to the Bearcats in their last matchup in five sets in 2024.
