No. 17 Hawks post 4-1 win at William Jewell

Jack Dean scored one goal and contributed to three more goals to lead 17th-ranked Rockhurst to a 4-1 victory over William Jewell Friday night in Liberty, Missouri.

The Hawks have now gone 10 consecutive games without a loss dating back to Sept. 14 and improved their conference-leading record to 8-0-2 with four games left in the regular season.

Kaden Cripe scored off a corner kick in the 30th minute to give the Hawks an early 1-0 lead. Dean and Blake Barrick had assists on Cripe's sixth goal of the season.

Dean came back eight minutes later in the 38th minute for his first career goal with an assist from Ozonna Ugbaja.

Immanuel Wayoro gave the Hawks a 3-0 lead with his seventh goal of the season in the 58th minute with an assist from Sam McIntosh. Jewell scored 53 seconds later to pull within two goals.

McIntosh wrapped up the scoring in the 87th minute with his second goal of the year.
 
Rockhurst finished with 10 shots (six on goal). Jewell posted eight shots (four on goal).

McIntosh and Dean each collected three shots and two shots on goal. Wayoro added two shots (one on goal). Franco Briani Brunoro and Stefano Camerlengo combined for three saves.

The Hawks, 9-2-2 overall, return to the pitch on Friday, Oct. 24 at Southwest Baptist in a 1:30 p.m. start.
