Rockhurst men post 1-0 victory over Quincy

The Rockhurst men's soccer team scored a late goal on Friday to remain unbeaten in the GLVC with a 6-0-2 conference record.

Kaden Cripe came off the bench in the second half to help give the first-place Hawks a 1-0 victory over Quincy at Bourke Field. Cripe scored off a rebound from eight yards in the 80th minute for his fifth goal of the season. Sam McIntosh assisted on the goal.

Rockhurst finished with 12 shots (four on goal), while Quincy posted six shots (one on goal). McIntosh and Blake Barrick led the Hawks with three shots apiece. Immanuel Wayoro and Noah Brende each had two shots.

Franco Briani Brunoro posted one save.

The Hawks (7-2-2) host Truman State on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
