Super paces Hawks at Washburn Rust Buster

Cara Super came in 17th place in the 3000 meters
The Rockhurst women's track and field team returned to its first action in January at the Washburn Rust Buster on Friday in Topeka, Kansas.
 
In the sprints, Paige Pistono finished 27th in the 200 meters in 27.47, Kylie Hunter placed 21st in the 300 meters in 50.27 and Ellie Beck came in 19th in the 400 meters with a personal best 1:02.38.

Cara Super led in the distance races with a 17th place finish in the 3000 meters in 11:22.21. Sarah Farrens placed 21st in the 3000 meters with a personal best 11:29.82. Molly McClung came in 19th in the mile run in 5:37.66, while Alexis Borum placed 30th in the 800 meters in 2:39.68.

In the field events, Ar'Janay Landers came in 15th in the triple and 31st in the long jump.
