Hawks fall 3-0 in inaugural match

The Rockhurst men's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Lindenwood (25-19, 25-23, 25-21) in their inaugural match on Friday evening in St. Charles, Missouri.

Lucas Tran led the Hawks with 10 kills, five digs and 11 points. Max Tkachev collected seven kills and five digs with a .333 hitting percentage.

Nathan Jacques posted 25 assists and a block. Shay Spadaro led the Hawks with six digs and tallied five kills and a service ace.

As a team, the Hawks finished with 31 kills, 30 assists, 27 digs and three blocks.

The Hawks (0-1) take on No. 20 McKendree Saturday at 7 p.m. in Lebanon, Illinois.
