Rockhurst cruises to 3-0 win over McKendree

The Rockhurst women's volleyball team posted a .396 hitting percentage in rolling to a 3-0 victory over McKendree Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst tallied 17 kills without a hitting error to win the first set, 25-10. Kenzie Hines and Tera Reberry combined for nine kills.

The Hawks won the next two sets, 25-16 and 25-12, to remain unbeaten in the conference with a 2-0 mark.

Reberry led the Hawks with eight kills, five blocks and 11 points. Hines tallied eight kills and six digs. Sarah Pyle posted seven kills, eight digs and two blocks. Sydney Raszler added six kills and a .750 hitting percentage.

Maureen Reilly led the Hawks with 15 digs and three services aces. Sarah Montague totaled 17 assists and 10 digs.

Rockhurst finished with 42 kills, 47 digs and eight service aces. The Hawks (8-3, 2-0 GLVC) play at Lewis on Friday at 6 p.m.
