Men open road trip at Indianapolis

The Rockhurst men's soccer team opens their longest road trip of the season Friday night at the University of Indianapolis (7:30 p.m. EST). The Hawks conclude the weekend on Sunday with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff at Illinois Springfield.

The Hawks (0-5, 0-3 GLVC) are winless after five games for the first time in school history. Rockhurst is coming off a 3-1 loss at home to Missouri-St. Louis last Sunday.

Indianapolis (3-2, 3-0) is riding a three-game winning streak. Rockhurst leads the all-time series 14-11-1. The Greyhounds have won the last seven meetings, outscoring the Hawks 16-2.

Springfield (2-2-1, 2-0-1 GLVC) posted shutout wins over Truman State and Quincy last weekend. Rockhurst leads the series, 8-4-2, since 2009. The Prairie Stars have a 3-0-2 record in the last five meetings.
