Women finish sixth at Greeno/Dirksen Invite

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in sixth place in the Gold Division at the Greeno/Dirksen Cross Country Invitational Saturday at the Mahoney Park Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Senior Jillian Vaughn led the Hawks in 36th place in a time of 19:46.9 over the five-kilometer course. Freshmen Laney Parmeley and Keira Naidoo finished in 39rd and 44th place in 19:49.5 and 19:55.1, respectively.

Senior Cara Super (71st, 20:33.8), sophomore Sarah Farrens (91st, 21:11.0), sophomore Molly McClung (92nd, 21:13.0), senior Molly Morris (99th, 21:19.4), senior Mary O'Connor (100th, 21:21.0) and sophomore Alexis O'Mara (111th, 21:35.9) rounded out the top nine runners for Rockhurst.
