Rockhurst opens weekend at Maryville

Conference play heats up this weekend for the Rockhurst men's soccer team. The Hawks travel to Maryville on Friday for a 1:30 p.m. game and will host Missouri-St. Louis on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Rockhurst (0-3, 0-1 GLVC) is looking for its first win of the season. The Hawks dropped its GLVC opener at home to McKendree last Sunday.

Maryville (0-3-1, 0-1) is coming off a 1-0 loss at Southwest Baptist last Sunday. Rockhurst leads the series 11-6-1 since 2009. Maryville has won six of the last seven meetings.

UMSL (2-2, 0-1 GLVC) makes a return visit to Kansas City after tying the Hawks, 0-0, last year at Bourke Field. Rockhurst holds a 15-6-6 advantage over the Tritons since 1998. The series is even at 2-2-2 since 2018.
