Pyle leads Hawks to 3-1 win over UCM Jennies

Sarah Pyle posted 16 kills and 16 digs to lead Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over 23rd-ranked Central Missouri Tuesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks closed the first set on a 6-3 run to rally for a 25-23 win. Central Missouri won the second set, 25-17. Rockhurst won the next two sets, 25-19 and 25-20, with Pyle combining for 10 kills.

Sydney Raszler tallied 13 kills with a .346 hitting percentage. Tera Reberry collected 11 kills and four blocks. Kenzie Hines added nine kills and eight digs.

Maureen Reilly led the Hawks with 20 digs. Sarah Montague and Molly Trachta each had 22 assists. Ali Olson had a team-high seven blocks.

Rockhurst finished with 54 kills, 63 digs and 10 team blocks.

The Hawks (6-2) host fourth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney Friday night.
