Rockhurst ends weekend with 3-0 victory

The Rockhurst volleyball team closed out play in the Drury Invitational with a 3-0 victory over Roosevelt Saturday in Springfield, Missouri.

The Hawks pulled away late to win the first set, 25-19. Rockhurst won the next two sets, 25-9 and 25-13, finishing with a .316 hitting percentage.

Sarah Pyle led the team with 10 kills and a .500 hitting percentage Sydney Raszler posted nine kills with a .692 hitting percentage and five blocks. Tera Reberry collected five kills and five blocks.

Kenzie Hines and Maureen Reilly tallied 11 and 10 digs, respectively. Sarah Montague and Molly Trachta each had 15 assists.

Rockhurst finished with 36 kills, 41 digs and 13 team blocks.

The Hawks (5-2) return to host Central Missouri Tuesday night.
