Women post 4-2 win over UMSL in GLVC Tournament

The Rockhurst women's tennis team defeated Missouri-St. Louis, 4-2, in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Friday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Missouri.

The Hawks (15-6) will face Drury (13-6) in the GLVC Tournament semifinals on Saturday at noon.

Ella Coleman moved her season record to 16-3 with 6-0, 6-1 wins in No. 1 singles.

Marina Magai and Maria Baez also won in two sets in No. 2 and 6 singles. Zuzanna Szmyd was a three-set winner in No. 4 singles.

Dani Lentisco and Baez won in No. 3 doubles, 6-3.
