Rockhurst men post 7-0 victory over Baker

The Rockhurst men's tennis team posted a 7-0 victory at home over Baker on Sunday at the Plaza Tennis Center.

Louis Keiner captured No. 1 singles over Baker's Juan Manuel Avila in two sets. Alex Tikhonov, Diego Schtulmann, Joe Harris, Andres Sahagun and Iago Alcover won their singles matches in straight sets.

Semyon Tsyrenov and Agustin Cortes won in No. 1 doubles, 6-2. Tikhonov and Gustavo Gill were 6-1 winners in No. 2 doubles. Joe Harris and Arnav Gannavaram grabbed a 6-1 win in No. 3 doubles.

The Hawks fell 4-1 at Illinois Springfield on Saturday. Keiner won his No. 1 singles match in three sets. Gill and Tikhonov collected a 6-3 win in No. 3 doubles.

The Hawks (7-8) open conference play at Drury on Friday.
