Women fall at 14th-ranked Indianapolis

The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team fell at 14th-ranked Indianapolis, 21-6, on Friday in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Indianapolis led 5-4 after the first period and scored the next eight goals to take a 13-4 lead in the third period.

Reagan Danner led the Hawks with two goals, one draw control and one caused turnover. Mackenzie Blair collected one goal, two draw controls and one ground ball.

Kaylee Lary added one goal and one ground ball. Mae Beins and Katie Nord combined for eight saves.

Rockhurst finished with 10 shots and 10 ground balls.

The Hawks (7-4, 1-1 GLVC) next play at Lewis on Sunday afternoon.
