Fast start lifts Lewis past Rockhurst

Lewis got off to a fast start in posting a 19-12 victory over Rockhurst in a GLVC women's lacrosse game Sunday in Romeoville, Illinois.
 
The Hawks (7-5) fell behind 7-2 after the first period and trailed 12-5 at halftime. Lewis scored five unanswered goals in the second half after Rockhurst cut the Flyers' lead to 14-10.

  • Dani Mabry tallied two goals, two assists and one ground ball.
