Women finish seventh at GLVC Championships

Grace Claney tied for 11th place individually

The Rockhurst women's golf team finished in seventh place at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Golf Championships Saturday at the Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois. The Hawks completed the three rounds of stroke play at 999 (341-333-325).

Grace Claney tied for 11th to lead the Hawks. Claney fired an 81 and 79 in the first two rounds and closed with an 81 to finish at 241.

Emma Mullendore tied for 24th at 249 (86-81-82). Greta Hinds finished 45th with a 264 score (93-87-84).

Indianapolis finished first in stroke play at 928, followed by Missouri-St. Louis at 950. Drury was third at 967, while Maryville was fourth at 973. Indianapolis defeated UMSL in the match play finals on Sunday.
