Hawks defeat Kansas Christian, 97-62

Rockhurst collected a 97-62 victory over Kansas Christian College on Saturday afternoon at Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks have now won four out of their last five games.

The Hawks began the game with a 12-4 run that led to a 45-32 halftime lead. Rockhurst also started the second half on a 19-4 run to take a 64-36 lead at the 14:06 mark.

Four Hawks scored in double figures. Jesse White led the Hawks with 20 points and was 4-of-4 from the 3-point line in the first half. Nico Felici added 12 points, while Arol Kacuol and Rron Thaci each scored 10 points.

Rockhurst shot 48.5 percent (33-for-68) from the field and 44 percent (11-for-25) on 3-point shots. The Hawks also recorded 44 rebounds.
