Men's Soccer meets Lewis in GLVC quarterfinals

The Rockhurst men's soccer team ended the regular season with three consecutive wins to grab the No. 8 seed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.

The Hawks will face top-seeded Lewis in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Rockhurst (6-8-2, 6-6-2 GLVC) has posted a 6-2-2 record in its last 10 games after starting the season with an 0-6 record.

Lewis (9-2-7, 9-1-4 GLVC) edged Maryville by one point to earn the top seed in the GLVC Tournament. The Flyers have won eight of their last 10 games.

The all-time series is tied at 16-16-4. The Flyers have won the last six meetings, including a 1-0 win over the Hawks in Kansas City on Oct. 6.
