Indy rallies for 3-2 win over Hawks

For the second straight day, the Rockhurst women fell short on the road. Indianapolis rallied for a 3-2 win over the Hawks Saturday in the Capital City.

Indianapolis pulled out a 15-13 victory in in the fifth set, 15-13. The Greyhounds came back from a 22-21 deficit to win the fourth set, 25-23. Rockhurst won the first set, 25-23, and captured the third set, 25-19.

Kenzie Hines led the Hawks with 16 kills and 18 digs. Tera Reberry collected 15 digs and six blocks. Sarah Pyle posted 11 kills and 14 digs. Ali Olson added eight kills and seven blocks.

Maureen Reilly posted a team-high 30 digs. Sarah Montague totaled 30 assists and seven digs.

Rockhurst finished with 59 kills, 82 digs and 12 blocks. The Hawks (8-5, 2-2 GLVC) return home to play Maryville Friday night.
