Hawks hold off Maryville to post 3-2 victory

Tera Reberry posted a career-high 26 kills with a .449 hitting percentage to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-2 victory over Maryville Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst won the fifth set, 15-10, after jumping out to a 10-2 lead. The Hawks won the second and third sets, 25-20 and 25-19. Reberry had 10 kills and Maureen Reilly had 11 digs in the third set.

Alyssa McDonald collected a season-high 15 kills and a .378 hitting percentage. Sarah Pyle tallied nine kills and 12 digs.

Reilly posted a season-high 37 digs. Sarah Montague totaled 37 assists and 13 digs. Molly Trachta added 25 assists and 10 digs.

Rockhurst finished with 69 kills, 94 digs and four blocks. The Hawks (9-5, 3-2 GLVC) host Missouri S&T Saturday at 3 p.m.
