Men's Soccer meets Upper Iowa tonight

The Rockhurst men's soccer team returns home to host Upper Iowa and Lewis this weekend at Bourke Field during Family and Alumni Weekend. The Hawks face Upper Iowa tonight at 7:30 p.m. and will meet Lewis on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

The Hawks (0-6-1, 0-4-1 GLVC) posted a 2-2 tie at Illinois Springfield last Sunday. Jacopo Belardo scored both goals for Rockhurst. Indianapolis scored a late goal to edge the Hawks, 2-1, last Friday in the Capital City.

Upper Iowa (0-5-2, 0-3-1 GLVC) have dropped its last three games. Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 2-0.

Lewis (1-1-6, 1-0-3 GLVC) shut out William Jewell, 1-0, and tied Truman State, 1-1, last weekend in Romeoville, Illinois. Lewis leads the series with RU, 15-14-4, since 1998. The Flyers have won the last five meetings.
