Hawks face tough road trip at Lewis, Indy

Tera Reberry leads the Hawks with 3.56 kills per set
Fresh off two conference wins at home, the Rockhurst women's volleyball team travels to Illinois and Indiana this weekend. The Hawks face Lewis on Friday at 6 p.m. in Romeoville, Illinois, and faces Indianapolis in the Capital City on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

The Hawks (8-3, 2-0 GLVC) opened conference play with a 3-1 win over fifth-ranked Missouri-St. Louis last Friday and swept McKendree, 3-0, on Saturday. Tera Reberry was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week after collecting 27 kills in seven sets.

Lewis (9-5, 2-0 GLVC) is coming off road wins at Southwest Baptist and Drury. The Flyers beat 24th-ranked Regis, 3-2, in Denver back on Sept. 14.

Rockhurst posted a 3-2 victory over Lewis in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last season. Going back to 2001, Lewis holds an 18-13 lead in the all-time series. The Flyers have won six of the last nine meetings.

Indianapolis (12-2, 2-0 GLVC) has won its last 11 matches heading into a Friday meeting with William Jewell. The Hawks have won the last eight meetings and lead the all-time series, 17-13.
