Balanced attack leads Hawks over Miners

Sarah Pyle collected 11 kills and 10 digs to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Missouri S&T Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks closed out the match with a 25-22 win in the third set with Pyle and Tera Reberry combining for 10 kills. The Hawks won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-11 with Olson posting eight kills.

Reberry and Olson ended the day with 10 kills apiece. Freshman Chloe Tyrrell tallied six kills, four service aces and four digs.

Maureen Reilly posted 20 digs. Sarah Montague totaled 21 assists and 11 digs. Molly Trachta added 15 assists and six digs. Freshman Delaney Hope, Pyle and Olson each had three blocks.

Rockhurst finished with 46 kills, 56 digs and 10 service aces. The Hawks (10-5, 4-2 GLVC) will play in the Midwest Region Crossover next weekend.
