Rockhurst returns home for weekend matches

The Rockhurst women's volleyball team returns to Mason-Halpin Field House this weekend. The Hawks host Maryville on Friday at 6 p.m. and Missouri S&T on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Rockhurst (8-5, 2-2 GLVC) is coming off a pair of 3-2 road losses at Lewis and Indianapolis last weekend.

Maryville (8-6, 3-1 GLVC) brings a three-match winning streak to Kansas City. The Saints posted 3-2 wins over Southwest Baptist and Drury last weekend. The Hawks defeated Maryville, 3-1, in St. Louis last year and lead the series, 13-0, since 2012.

Missouri S&T (4-10, 2-2 GLVC) collected wins over Southwest Baptist (3-1) and Drury (3-2) last weekend. The Miners won their last meeting with Rockhurst, 3-2, in the GLVC Tournament last season. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 21-8, since 2007.
