Men's Soccer settles for 1-1 tie at Truman State

The Rockhurst men's soccer team could not convert on four shots on goal in the second half in settling for a 1-1 tie at Truman State Friday in Kirksville, Missouri.

RU's Jacopo Belardo scored on a header near the goal off a cross from Immanuel Wayoro in the 35th minute to knot the score at one apiece. Truman State took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute.

Rockhurst posted 15 shots and 10 shots on goals. Blake Barrick led the Hawks with four shots and three shot on goal. Belardo collected three shots and one shot on goal. Caden Pfeil and Octavio Miranda each had two shots.

The Hawks (1-7-2, 1-5-2 GLVC) play at Quincy at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
