Second-half run leads Hawks past Quincy

Six players combined for 74 points to lead Rockhurst to an 80-66 victory over Quincy Wednesday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rron Thaci connected on back-to-back 3-pointers to key a 10-0 run, giving Rockhurst a 70-54 lead with 4:44 left to play.

Thaci led the Hawks with a career-high 17 points and five 3-pointers. Nick Arensberg posted 15 points, five assists and two steals. Timaris Brown tallied 11 points and nine rebounds.

Brian Hawthorne collected 11 points, four rebounds and three assists. Miles White notched 10 points, six rebounds and three assists. Nico Felici added 10 points and two assists.

Rockhurst shot 40.4 percent from the field (23-of-57) and made 13 of 38 three-pointers (34.2 percent).

Zion Richardson led Quincy (7-6, 2-3 GLVC) with 22 points and nine rebounds.
