No. 25 Hawks open conference play at McKendree

The Hawks have won their last five matches.
Women's Volleyball opens Great Lakes Valley Conference action Friday night (6:00) at McKendree after posting an impressive 3-2 victory at Central Missouri on Tuesday.

The 25th-ranked Hawks (9-1) have won their last five matches. Freshman middle hitter Ali Olson leads the GLVC in blocks per set (1.17). Senior libero Maureen Reilly ranks second in the GLVC with 5.47 digs per set.

McKendree (7-4) is coming off a 3-0 loss at home to Missouri-St. Louis last Saturday. Senior outside hitter Brianna Binder leads the Bearcats with 4.24 kills per set.

Rockhurst travels to St. Louis on Saturday to face the fifth-ranked UMSL Tritons in a 3 p.m. match. The Tritons (12-0) are led by senior outside hitter Lexi Rang, who is the GLVC leader in kills per set (4.61).
