Hawks drop conference opener to McKendree

Tomasso Tirabassi posted a shot on goal in the first half.
Box Score The Rockhurst men's soccer team began conference play with a 1-0 loss to McKendree Friday night at Bourke Field.

McKendree scored in the 42nd minute on a rebound shot from six yards by reserve Chris Moore.

The Hawks posted four of their five total shots in the second half. Fabio D'Errico made one save for the Hawks in the first half.

Rockhurst (2-2, 0-1 GLVC) host Missouri-St. Louis at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
